Disable A Stolen Cell Phone
Just key in *#06# into your phone & it will reveal your serial number.
You should write it down somewhere and in case your cell phone is lost or stolen, you should provide this number to your cellular operator. With this number you carrier is able to "greylist" or "blacklist" that stolen phone.
Greylisted means that the phone can still be used but can also be tracked. Blacklisting means that the phone cannot be used.
